"During this time, exercise is more important than ever, for your mental health as well as your physical health, keeping our hearts healthy. Exercise is crucial right now and I think it's going to become even more prevalent as the time passes.", said Melissa Whitmer, a co-owner of the business along with Tara Poche.

In addition, the facility is the first fitness center to deploy the Integrated Viral Protection air system which is proven to kill COVID-19, according to the IVP Air website.

Opening up America starts with using proven technology to make the air we breathe safe and viral free. IVPs Biodefense System is a public health game changer as it is the one and only filtration system proven to kill COVID-19 in the air, instantaneously along with other biological threats, such as influenza, making high risk areas, such as a fitness facility like Crush NTX, a much safer and healthier environment. saidDr. Garrett Peel.

The systems are being used widely in schools, office buildings, airports, restaurants, hotels and hospitals.

Crush NTX uses two of the units which move 1,800 cubic feet of air per minute through a specially heated HEPA filter that kills COVID-19 and influenza. Peel said the devices sanitize the air in the facility continuously, filtering the complete volume in the space8-10 times per hour.

Crush NTX Fitness is open seven days a week and is located at 4017 Seymour Highway. For more information, go to crushntxfitness.com
