Good News for South Orlando Residents Who Want to Exercise but Hate the Gym!

fit.reActive is Orlando’s new mobile personal training service, specializing in customized exercise programs for the home and office.

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) February 24, 2012

fit.reActive is Orlando’s new mobile personal training service, specializing in customized exercise programs for the home and office.

Demanding work schedules, family obligations and uncertainty are typical excuses people use to avoid exercise. “With escalating health concerns across America, fitness programs have never been more popular or necessary, but most people don’t know where to begin without a trainer,” says fit.reActive! owner Earnest McDonald. “We felt there were opportunities gyms and health clubs were not exploring to help these busy individuals, and we wanted to conveniently bring fun and effective exercise routines into homes and offices at affordable prices.”

fit.reActive! arrives on the heels of a 2011 report from the Trust for America’s Health and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which ranks Florida as the 29th most obese state in the nation with an obesity rate of 26.1 percent among adults. Poor nutrition and physical inactivity are major contributors to this serious health epidemic, and fit.reActive! was conceived to improve overall fitness through weight management and routine exercise. “The ability to train in the home and office is especially beneficial to working professionals and stay-at-home parents who are insecure about body image, unfamiliar with exercise equipment or uncomfortable in the health club environment”, McDonald continues. “Once the intimidation factor is removed, our clients feel more empowered to reach their fitness goals and eventually feel better about themselves.”

fit.reActive! primarily caters to communities south of Orlando, including Hunter’s Creek, Kissimmee, Celebration, Windermere, Dr. Phillips and Lake Nona. Its services include one-on-one personal training, buddy training with 2 to 4 clients, outdoor fitness boot camps and nutrition counseling between the hours of 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday. “Future expansion into other communities is possible, but our goal is to initially concentrate our business in a specific region to better respond to the needs of our customers,” McDonald says.

Earnest McDonald is a certified personal trainer with the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA). He is also a certified group fitness instructor of world renowned RPM cycling and BodyPump weight training programs by Les Mills International.
