Fitness Marketing Whiz Kid Sam Bakhtiar Launches Contact Formula To Help Fitness Entrepreneurs Expand Their Businesses

Chino Hills, CA (PRWEB) February 15, 2012

Fitness trainer, blogger, and entrepreneur Saman Bakhtiar, who is based in L.A., has launched Contact Formula, a mobile fitness marketing platform that guarantees better business prospects. Sam, who is popularly known as ‘7 Figure Sam’ due to his sky-high annual business returns, is also the owner of notable blog Super-Trainer and several boot camps and training centers in California and the Chicago area.

Contact Formula has come at a time when over 92% of the population in the U.S.A. is mobile. Tapping this burgeoning market can ensure that fitness entrepreneurs win over more clients, get more referrals, enjoy better revenues, and fortify customer retention- which is what Sam has strived to do through his coaching program.

Bakhtiar’s Mastermind coaching program has become all the rage among budding fitness marketing honchos due to its high success rate and its ability to provide tangible results in very little time. Many personal trainers have benefited from his time-tested and self-created business systems, which, in fact, were responsible for propelling Sam to new heights after he’d repeatedly courted failure in the fitness marketing sector. The firsthand accounts and testimonials of many trainers after having tried 7 Figure Sam’s business model are positive and shed light on the fact that his coaching service isn’t just high on promise and low on delivery.

Sam’s coaching program will now also allow entrepreneurs to take full advantage of Contact Formula’s comprehensive pool of services like voice broadcasting, social and email marketing, and SMS and MMS marketing to reach out to a much wider audience, which in turn will translate into a higher potential customer-loyal client turnover. This mobile fitness marketing service is also replete with other features like mobile voting and polling, lead generation, mobile coupons, appointment reminders, mobile eCards, shuffle responders, and a whole lot more.

About 7 Figure Sam:

7 Figure Sam is the brainchild behind the fitness marketing model that has helped innumerable trainers attain financial independence and success. His mantra for success is multi-dimensional and allows fitness entrepreneurs to live a stress-free life devoid of unreasonable deadlines, haphazard finances and management, and other professional bugbears.

Through his blog Super-Trainer and his Mastermind coaching program, Sam hopes to help fitness marketing professionals juggle their work and family life without breaking a sweat and enable them to taste financial success with a business system that really works.

Fitness Buddy Is An Exercise Instructor For Your Smartphone

7:30AM Today | Adam Dachis

Android and iPhone: We’ve looked at how to turn your Android or iPhone into a personal trainer, but Fitness Buddy is an app that covers most of your basis in one sweep. It not only provides instructions for over 1700 exercises, but also plans and tracks your workouts, weight and body metrics and blood pressure.

Fitness Buddy offers preset workouts for you, but you can define your own. In fact, you can add your own specific exercises, too, if Fitness Buddy doesn’t already have them included. If you want to explore new exercises, you can browse by muscle group or target a specific muscle by tapping it on a diagram of the human body. Each exercise is explained with text and a picture in a series of cards so you get a quick understanding of what it entails. Once you’ve got everything defined and your workout planned, Fitness Buddy will keep track of it all on a calendar view so you can see what you’ve done and have coming up. When you’re actually exercising, you can use the app’s built-in music player to create a quick playlist. Finally, you can view and export your history at any time.

While Fitness Buddy is definitely not the first app to put together a compilation of exercises and help you plan your workouts — Nike Training Club is a good one if you want video — it’s the most comprehensive I’ve seen. If you want access to a ton of different exercise instructions and plenty of ways to comprehensively track your progress, Fitness Buddy is an app worth checking out.

Can't go to a gym? Fitness classes going live online

Sarah Melone has not been to the gym in 10 years. Not coincidentally, 10 years ago she had the first of her three children. But Melone finds a way to stay fit, while being realistic.

STAFF PHOTOS BY ELIZABETH LARA AND KEVIN R. WEXLER

Sarah Melone does a BOSU ball workout from her Tenafly home through a streaming online exercise class from EMG, at left.

"I don't have the [money] to invest in a gym knowing I can't keep up with that schedule, because I have child-care issues and all those other things that get in your way," says Melone, who lives in Tenafly.

Instead, Melone logs on to emglivefitness.com to access live streaming of a fitness class or choose a recorded class on demand. She pays $5 per class, selecting from a wide variety of choices. And she does it on her schedule.

Streaming fitness classes is a growing trend — and business — that seems to benefit everyone involved. It could change how (and when and where) people work out.

"This is a no-fail routine," says Melone. "You can't lose money. You pay as you go. Because it's always there and available, I feel like it gives me more of that opportunity toward fitness."

On most sites, like yogisanonymous. com, users pay a time-based subscription fee.

"The response has been absolutely amazing," says Yogis Anonymous co-owner Dorian Cheah, who started streaming classes from their California studio last March and has daily, weekly and monthly subscriptions. "It's been growing very quickly and consistently."

Joyce Wells, who started EMG, saw the possibilities of streaming fitness classes. She had years of business and technological experience from careers at Citibank and Microsoft. And she is a self-described fitness nut who loved going to classes when she lived in Manhattan. No longer in the city, she misses that level of fitness class.

"Not that I'm criticizing anything here, but the classes were nothing like the ones I took in New York," says Wells, who lives at Crystal Springs in Hamburg. "When they did get up here, they were, I'm going to say, 5 degrees different than what they [were] in New York or Chicago or L.A."

So as she pondered what to do with the rest of her life after leaving Microsoft, she realized she could combine her love of fitness and her business experience. How could she bring high-quality fitness classes to others like her, who didn't have it immediately available or were traveling and missing their favorite instructors and classes?

Wells called her former Pilates instructor, Liz Clingham, with the idea of streaming classes online. Clingham, who lives in Tenafly and teaches in the area, including at The Spa at Glenpointe, was immediately on board. She helped Wells test the site and they launched in May 2011.

Better than DVDs

Now Clingham's kickboxing, step, BOSU ball and spin class are available on the site. She says the people in the studio do not get short-changed and the people at home feel like they are in the class. She knows who is on live and talks directly to them at times. Melone says it is a much better experience than the tiresome, slickly produced DVDs.

"The way [EMG's] taping it, from the angle, you're right behind the instructor as you would be in class, as opposed to trying to mirror them like you do with a DVD," says Melone, who used to do the classes while looking at her laptop screen but now connects her iPad to the TV. "You see real people in the class, moving the way you are instead of perfect models. That part makes you feel better as you're trying to keep up."

Fitness is serious fun in the '60' club

Students at Hatzic Elementary School in Mission are on the right path to health and fitness, and they proved it by winning a national activity challenge in April.

More than 230 students from kindergarten to Grade 7 took part in the 60 Minute Kids Club challenge, a health and fitness competition that challenges and motivates students to do 60 minutes of physical activity every day for 60 days.

"We are so proud of the students of Hatzic for their dedication to the 60 Minute Kids Club," said principal Carolynn Schmor. "The enthusiasm, passion and perseverance they displayed were inspiring not just to their teachers, but to their parents and families as well. It has been wonderful to watch their commitment to health and fitness grow over the last two months."

The goal of the program is to increase awareness about exercise and eating right for children ages five to 13.

"We are a very active school and active community at Hatzic. The kids really took it upon themselves to do their best," said Grade 1 teacher Louise Rempel.

Competing schools were ranked according to how many kids participated in the program and the total amount of student log-ins to the 60 Minute Kids Club website.

Each day, students recorded information relating to their fitness and health achievements that day, including how many minutes of activity they completed, how much sleep they had gotten and how much water they drank.

With 92 per cent participation, Hatzic beat out 10 other elementary schools in B.C. and Ontario to win the competition.

In addition to their PE class at school, all students did an additional 15 minutes of physical activity in class, which included going for a quick walk around the block, yoga or activities to music.

"The 60 Minute Kids Club was created to increase activity in children and provide an incentive for them to take ownership of their health and fitness," said Matthew Young, program founder and owner of Innovative Fitness.

"We want kids to enjoy exercising, sleeping and eating right. The hope is that kids and their parents walk away from the program with a new appreciation for health and fitness in their lives."

The challenge ran from January 15 to March 15. Grade 6 student Sophia Shandella logged in the most and was named the top student in the competition.

"We're very surprised and very proud of our school. I thought we would do well, but this was an unknown," added Rempel.
