The singer, who has recently been subjected to cruel attacks from Internet trolls about her appearance, says she is happy being a size14-16.

The 24-year-old, who recently gave birth to her first child with her partner Simon Konecki, wrote in her new biography that she had read a YouTube comment saying "Test pilot for pies", but that it had not upset her.

"I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn't."

Karl Lagerfeld was also recently criticised for saying that although Adele has a great voice she is a little too fat.

Adele may be confident about her weight, but she admits she is terrified of audiences .

In Adele: The Biography, she admitted: One show in Amsterdam, I was so nervous I escaped out of the fire exit. I've thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels, I projectile vomited on someone."
