CORONATION Street's Colson Smith has revealed the meal delivery plan that has helped him to lose weight.

The star has returned to the soap set following the extended break due to coronavirus.

Craig actor Colson, 21, appeared on Good Morning Britain and thanked his meal provider for helping him to shed the pounds.

"He explained: "So I have my breakfast and lunches delivered and they're still being delivered now by a company called FitChef which means cooking basically I don't have to think about I can just eat."

The company fitchefuk thanked the actor on their Instagram for mentioning them and were happy he was enjoying the meals.

They wrote: "Grateful and excited to have got a mention on@itvon#lorraineshow. Thanks@colsonjsmith glad youre well and enjoying the food #thismorning."

Colson Smith looks slimmer than ever after keeping up with his fitness regime during lockdown.

Wearing a pair of black shorts and a matching T-shirt and cap, Colson took a selfie in the mirror and captioned it: "Starting the morning with a run. Quarantine daily run."

Last week, the soap star - who plays Craig Tinker on Coronation Street - revealed hisgruelling fitness regime to fans, which has seen him shed an impressive amount of weight.

Sharing a video of himself working out in his back garden, Colson can be seen swinging kettlebells above his head, slamming a weighted ball on the floor and doing curls using heavy dumbells.

His weight loss during lockdown has amazed fans, with one insisting he was "giving Adele a run for her money".

It comes after Colson joked he'd lost ten stone during lockdown and would have towear a fat suit when filming for Corrie resumed.

Speaking on his podcast, he said: "We are in direct continuity, but I've almost lost about ten stone since we left work so I'm not sure that [my hair] is going to be the biggest of their issues.

"I might be wearing a wig and a fat suit when we go back. Now we go to a purple shampoo, which almost makes it a platinum sort of colour, which basically takes the ginger pigment out.

"So the yellow-ness will go, and I will have a head of blonde hair, which I technically do now."
